Welcome to Ashby Art Club
If you would like to paint alongside like minded people, of all different abilities, then Smisby Village Hall is the place for you. Members bring along projects they are currently working on to our regular club meetings, we also have an interesting programme which includes regular demonstrations, workshops and an Annual Art Exhibition - lots of opportunity to get creative in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Wednesday morning painting sessions are 9.30 am to 12.00 noon on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month.
Monday evening painting sessions are 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm every week.
MEMBERSHIP
We welcome new members, the Annual Subscription is £55 for the 2025/2026 season (01.09.2025 - 26.08.2026). This will give free access to Monday evening and Wednesday morning painting sessions and all demonstrations. Prospective new members are welcome to attend one free trial session to meet us all. ART DEMONSTRATIONS 2025-26
We hold varied and interesting art demonstrations throughout the year at Smisby Village Hall (LE65 2TJ) from 7pm - 9pm.
Members may attend for free, non-members £5.
EASTER EXHIBITION
We exhibit every Easter in Ticknall village hall in Derbyshire. It is a wonderful location and there are a wide range of styles and mediums to view, it is always a very popular event attracting hundreds of visitors.
